Port de Valldemossa - Mallorca Island Map 3.5

Port de Valldemossa, also known as sa Marina or Cala de Valldemossa, is reached by a long, winding route. A narrow road leaves Valldemossa a few metres from the junction with the road to Deià and Soller. Port de Valldernossa is a small nucleus of low-built houses that are generally inhabited in summer and often empty in winter.

Along this route son Mas, so n’Olesa and the luxurious residence of Vistamar can be seen. The road to Port de Valldernossa continues for six kilometres and traffic is heavy during the summer months. The first few kilometres of sa Marina also provide access to the area of s'Estaca, both to the estate owned by the American actor Michael Douglas and to the tiny ancient fishing community of Calo d'Estaca, which has remained practically as it was one hundred years ago.
