Costa Nord is a cultural centre set up by the hollywood actor Michael Douglas to promote the natural beauty and history of Majorca.

Conveniently situated in the centre of Valldemossa, vistors are welcomed by a video presentation covering the history of Majorca, the beauty of the northern area of the island and some of the characters that have lived here.

In the grounds you'll find a well-renowned restaurant along with gardens and terraces to sit on. During the year the centre has a programme of concerts, gastronomic days, planned excursions to the surrounding area and of course the famous 'Mediterranean Nights' event. This is now a staple of the events calendar and has included performences from such famous artists as Art Garfunkel and Van Morrison. In fact it is well known for its musical programme which takes in the genres of Jazz, Soul and Classical to name just a few.
