Cala Llombards, surrounded by a development of the same name, is a very quiet area popular with the many families who holiday here in summer.

This pretty white sandy beach set at the mouth of a small inlet is close to a small development of the same name. It sprang up in 1969 with most of the houses being built as second homes - so private rental is popular here. There is a small hotel or two though for those who fancy a more relaxing holiday set a short distance form the beach.

Cala Llombards can be reached by car and parking is free, facilities are limited because its surroundings have been kept fairly natural which is all the better for daytrippers wishing to experience nature.
From here is the starting point for some excellent outings to the surrounding villages, and many an interesting walk can be found. From the beach, for example, there is a path on the right that runs along the coast to the stunningly placed mirador (look out point) above es Pontas which means the 'big bridge'. It's a well known point on this coast where the waves have eroded the rock to form what appears to be a bridge in the sea.
