Cala en Tugores and Cala Caragol - See Map
South - Santanyí, Mallorca
Both these beaches are most Southern in Majorca and are divided by a small strip of rocky land – so easy to do either or both once you’ve found them!
Situated 7kms from Ses Salines this isolated sandy area can only be reached on foot, and it’s quite a hike! But for those that enjoy a challenge they really are ‘get away from it all’ beaches where you can be completely alone, which is why we’ve included them.
Once you are there you’ll find S'Estany de Ses Gambes, a natural lake that’s popular with marine birds so bird watchers may want to make the trek - but do take packed lunch.
Facilities: Mc Donalds and Burgar King - only joking!! They’re completely uncluttered by facilities.
Anchoring: not recommended due to shallow waters.
How to get there: There are only two options to get there: from the lighthouse of Ses Salines, walking along the coast for 3,6 kilometres, or from Colònia de Sant Jordi along its beaches (es Port, es Dolç and es Carbó) for 5,4 kilometres and one hour of duration.
