Cala Tuent - See Map
North West - Escorca, Mallorca
This semi-circular pebble beach is backed by thick pine forests. Completely natural it oddly has the ruins of an old house at one end.
Reachable by car, boat (from Puerto Soller) and foot, the route downwards is steep and the road narrow but the journey is worthwhile as it cuts through a dramatic landscape.
Interestingly hikers may want to note that one of the more beautiful walks in Majorca ends here. The Ca Costera route starts from the Mirador de ses Barques, which is located overlooking Puerto Soller and is reachable by bus. You walk downwards for 5 hours until you reach the beach.
This small beach can be busy in the main summer months which, considering its lack of facilities, is unusual.
Facilities: none.
Anchoring: not recommended
How to get there: Follow the signs but look out carefully for the final sign indicting where you turn to travel down the beach.
Access: by foot from the parking area. There is disabled access.
